Donations; Public Support Ensure Cops & Kids Will Remain A Local Holiday Tradition (VIDEO)

JASPER (NNDC) – Local police agencies in Dubois County for years have raised money and even shopped themselves for kids whose families struggle, especially during the holidays.  This year, the local program, called Cops & Kids, was struggling itself to raise enough money to continue the program this year.

The local Fraternal Order of Police went to the public asking for donations.  The response from the local community not only made today’s Cops & Kids shopping spree possible, but ensured it will remain for years to come…

The Cops & Kids program is so special for the officers, many of their own spouses and even their own children take part to make the day even more special.
