Holland Man Arrested On Drug and Traffic Charges

HUNTINGBURG (NNDC) – A 48-year-old Holland man was arrested on drug and traffic charges over the weekend. Huntingburg City Police report they stopped David Gabbert driving his pickup Friday evening for not having a license plate light. A records checked showed Gabberd was a habitual traffic violator and did not have a valid license.

During a search of the vehicle officers located approximately 100 grams of synthetic drugs/synthetic marijuana. often referred to as “K2.” They also located a glass smoking pipe. The driver admitted the drugs and pipe were his.

Gabbert was arrested for A misdemeanor charges of possession of a synthetic drug and possession  of paraphernalia. He was also charged with a level 6 felony count of driving while being a habitual traffic violator. He was transported to and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
