Georgia A. Kleiser, 86, Jasper

Georgia KleiserGeorgia A. Kleiser, 86, of Jasper, died Tuesday Tuesday (November 24) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. She was born in Evansville May 25, 1929, to George C. and Theresa A. (Lents ) Cresgy. She married Harold Kleiser July 16, 1957,at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Georgia was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School in Washington and a member of St. Joseph Church in Jasper. Georgia was a supervisor for Uniroyal in Washington, where she retired after more than 40 years of service. She often shared her wonderful memories of her “group of gals” that was her team at Uniroyal. For many years she enjoyed the time spent relaxing at their family getaway spot on the White River. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold V. Kleiser; one brother, Richard Cresgy and wife Linda, Shoals. Georgia and Harold were a second set of parents to many nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, William (Billy) Cresgy and one sister, Dixie June Cresgy, who died in childhood.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, the Alzheimer’s Association, or to the Northwood Retirement Community.
