Police Looking For Those Responsible For Hillham Farm Break-In

HILLHAM (NNDC) – The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department continues to look for the person or people responsible for a burglary at a farm near Hillham.

DCSD is also is asking for the public’s help.

DCSD says sometime between last Friday evening and Wednesday morning, the garage and an outbuilding at Steve Enlow’s property west of Hillham was burglarized.  The farm is at 10543 East Indiana 56.

DCSD says a tool box containing large wrenches and an Echo SMR-225 weed trimmer were taken from the garage; A Toro LX500 riding mower and a 52-inch cutting deck was taken from the outbuilding.

Two ladders were also taken from what DCSD says was a deck area. One was a 6′ aluminum painting ladder that was green in color with a yellow paint pan. The other was an 11′ multi-position aluminum latter with yellow boots on its base.

The estimated value of the items stolen is $2,700 says DCSD.

The sheriff’s department is asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during that time period is asked to call DCSD at 812-482-3522.
