Harold Brames USEHarold A. Brames, 76, of St. Henry, died Saturday (October 24) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. He was born, February 10, 1939, in St. Anthony to Albert and Irma (Schipp) Brames. He married Emogene Dilger July 7, 1962, in Mary Help of Christians Church in Mariah Hill.

Harold was a retired truck driver for Aristokraft. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church Parish and the St. Henry Community Club. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and Cincinnati Reds baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Emogene; three sons, Steve Brames, St. Henry, Dave Brames, Bretzville, and Pat Brames and wife Nanette, Verona, Kentucky; two daughters, Rita Brames, McCordsville, and Jennifer Edwards and husband Tom, Mt. Joliet; six brothers, Ernie Brames and wife Elaine, Jim Brames and wife Shirley, Tom Brames and wife Louise, and Clarence Brames and wife Sue, all of St. Anthony, Elmer Brames and wife Marilyn, Jasper, and Ron Brames, Eckerty; one sister, Rose Ann Blessinger and husband Ken, St. Anthony; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Norbert Brames.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and from 7-9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Henry Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
