Terri Lee Bockting, 53, Jasper

Terri BocktingTerri Lee Bockting, 53, of Jasper, died Sunday (October 11) at her home. She was born in Huntingburg November 5, 1961, to Robert Lee and Evelyn (McGlothlin) Houchin.

Terri worked as a nurse’s aid and a unit secretary for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Huntingburg and for Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by four daughters, April Underhill and husband Nick and Alicia Higgs, all of Huntingburg, Ashley Rasche and husband Andy, Crystal, and Sarah Conrad and husband Marc, Chicago; seven grandchildren, Tristan and Carson Higgs, Braden Rasche, Chloe, Sophia, and Jerica Underhill, and Oliver Conrad; one sister, Linda Hoffman, Jasper; three brothers, Robert Houchin, Manchester, Tennessee, James Houchin and wife Wanda, St. Croix, and William Houchin and wife Karen, Oden.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Jasper Church of the Nazarene. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at noon Saturday at the church. Rev. Jason Throop will officiate. Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper is in charge of arrangements.
