With Machines Successfully Tested Early Voting Begins Monday (with VIDEO)

JASPER (NNDC) – The 2015 General Election is still about a month away but “early” voting will begin this coming Monday.

Dubois County Clerk Bridgette Jarboe says registered voters can begin voting at the Dubois County Courthouse beginning at 8:00AM Monday, October 12th.  Voters can vote at the courthouse during regular business hours (8:00AM – 4:00PM), Monday through Friday until 12:00N, Monday, November 2nd .

Jarboe says the courthouse will also be open for early voting on two Saturdays; October 24th and October 31st.  The hours will be from 8:00AM – 2:00PM.

Early voting will also take place at two “satellite” locations; the Huntingburg Event Center & The Ferdinand Community Center.

Early voting hours at the Huntingburg Event Center will be on Thursday October 29th and October 30th from  10:00AM – 6:00PM both days and on Saturday, October 31st from 8:00AM until 12:00N.

Early voting hours at the Ferdinand Community Center will be on Thursday October 29th from 10:00AM – 6:00PM and on Saturday, October 31st from 8:00AM – 12:00N.  PLEASE NOTE: There will be no early voting at Ferdinand on Friday, October 30th.

Last Friday, voting machines to be used locally for this election were tested at the Dubois County Courthouse…
