Brentley Alan Workman, 27, Birdseye

WorkmanBrentley Alan Workman, 27, of Birdseye, died Wednesday (September 30) at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Washington January 16, 1988, to Rebecca Workman and Thomas E. Ball.

Brentley was employed as a maintenance technician at Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari and worked part-time at Best Chairs and Tony Buechler’s turkey farm. He enjoyed fishing, working on motorcycles and cars, and spending time with his wife and daughters.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Englert) Workman; two daughters, Hailey and Lyla Workman, at home; his mother, Rebecca Workman, Jasper; his father and stepmother, Thomas E. and Trisha Ball, Birdseye; two sisters, Cierra Phillips, Shoals, and Ashley Ball, Birdseye; one brother, Darryl Workman and wife Jill, Holland; one stepbrother, Brad Bolden, Jasper; and grandparents, George Thomas Ball, Eckerty, Betty Romine, Dubois, David Workman, Petersburg, and Harold and Edna Bolden, Birdseye.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Condolences may be shared online at www.nassandson.com. Funeral services at 1 p.m. (EDT) Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial in Eckerty Cemetery. Rev. Albert Madden will officiate at the service.
