Robert “Bobby” Niehaus, 58, Winslow

Bobby NiehausBRobert “Bobby” Niehaus, 58, of Winslow, died Monday (August 31) at his mother’s home in Bretzville. He was born in Huntingburg August 25, 1957, to Arthur Frank Sr. and Rose Mary (Fleck) Niehaus.

Bobby worked as a special skills operator at Masterbrand Cabinets, where he worked for over 26 years. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenter’s Union No. 2930. He enjoyed playing rum, bingo, visiting the casino, jeep rides, and spending time with his dog Lucy and friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Mary Mundy and husband Sylvester, Bretzville; three sisters, Deborah Shake and husband Don, Bloomington, Barb Kunkler, Bretzville, and Margie Hughlett, Jasper; three brothers, Sylvester, Randy, and Allen, all of Bretzville; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Niehaus, Sr. and one brother, Arthur Niehaus, Jr.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, or to a favorite charity.
