County 4-Hers Fare Well at State Fair

4H fair livestockINDIANAPOLIS (NNDC) – Dubois County 4-H members fared well in this year’s Indiana State Fair livestock competition.

Collin Bowlin was Reserve Champion in Senior Showmanship, Cheyenne Scherle was Champion Dairy Goat Wether, and Cody Scherle was Reserve Champion Dairy Goat Wether.

Dubois County also claimed a number of class winners. The class winner is an award that is given to the 4-H member with the best livestock out of the class. The class winners were Collin Bowlin, Beef Hereford Division Showmanship; Cheyenne Scherle, Sheep-Junior Market Lamb Showmanship and Dairy Goats-Dairy Goat Wether Division; Kaitlyn Stenftenagel, Class Winner Pgymy Goat Junior Freshended Doe; and Kelcie Hassfurther, Horse and Pony-English/Non-Stock Saddle Seat Equitation Gaited, English/Non-Stock Pleasure Gaited English Pleasure, Canter, and English/Non-Stock English Hunter and Saddle Type 16 years or older.
