Four Arrested on Drug Charges

Drug Arrests bigJASPER (NNDC) – Four persons – one from Jasper, one from Huntingburg, and two from Washington – were arrested Saturday evening by the Jasper Police Department on drug charges.

The arrests followed a tip from the Indiana State Police to JPD that Caleb Dubon, Jr.,19, of Jasper, who had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear, was residing in a residence on Mill Street in Jasper. Dubon was spotted leaving his home in a black passenger car and was stopped at 17th and Newton Streeet and placed under arrest for the warrant. A search of the vehicle located methamphetamine and used hyperdermic needles.

Dubon and three passengers in the car – Hayley D. Camplin, 19, of Huntingburg and Jade D. Jones, 21, and Shawna D. Campbell, 21, both of Washington – were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
