Deadline Extended for 4+1=9 Art Exhibit

4+1 Equals 9 logoJASPER (NNDC) – The entry deadline for the upcoming 4+1=9 Community Exhibit has been extended to August 28. The exhibit is scheduled October 1-30 in the Krempp Gallery at the Jasper Arts Center.

Entry forms may be accepted without a preview image of the work. A rough estimate of the size will be acceptable. The exhibit is open to artists 16 years of age or older residing in Dubois, Martin, Spencer, Daviess, Orange, Crawford, Warrick, Pike, or Perry County.

Each artist will include at least the following four objects in their artwork: box, map, fabric, living or former living thing (i.e. plant, bone, etc.). Live animals will not be accepted. Each artist will also include one object he/she thinks represents their county, thus the title of the exhibit, 4+1=9. All artwork will be accepted if all requirements are met.
