JASPER (NNDC) – Dubois County deputy prosecutor Beth Sermersheim says there’s been another sentencing from last year’s “Operation Big Brother” drug sweep arrests.

Today, in Dubois Superior Court, 42-year old Margaret “Faith” MacDonald of Huntingburg pled guilty to Dealing in Methamphetamine (a Class B felony).

Under a plea agreement with the court, Judge Mark McConnell sentenced MacDonald to ten (10) years in prison. The first four years will be served at an Indiana Department of Correction facility. That will be followed with two (2) years of work release through Dubois County Community Corrections, followed by four (4) years on
supervised probation.

Sermersheim only four Operation Big Brother cases remain outstanding at this time.

One of those cases is set for sentencing tomorrow (Wednesday)

Sermershiem says so far twelve (12) Operation Big Brother cases have been resolved. She says sentences imposed in these cases total 113 years, with 89 years of jail time.
