JASPER (NNDC) – A Jasper man was taken into police custody after he allegedly told his girlfriend he was going to drown his own two children and then harm himself.

Police say when officers arrived at 21-year old Jacob Hundley’s home in the 900 block of Mill Street early Sunday morning, he did open the front door, but then tried to go back inside the house.

JPD says officers had to grab Hundley in order to handcuff him. ¬†Police also say Hundley tried to pull away from officers as they were escorting him to a squad car. ¬†Officers described Hundley’s attempts to get away as aggressive and even threatening.

Hundley faces charges of Resisting Arrest and two counts of Intimidation.

Police say the children, ages 2 and 4 were not harmed, nor was Hundley’s girlfriend.

At the time of this morning’s arrest, Hundley was also wanted on a warrant out of Perry County.
