DNR Increases State Campgrounds Fees

Campground editedINDIANAPOLIS (NNDC) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resource’s Division of Fish and Wildlife is raising its campground fees due to increasing campground operating costs.

Officials say the fee increase will allow the DNR to continue maintaining and operating campgrounds at Willow Slough, J.E. Rousch Lake, and nearby Glendale Fish and Wildlife areas.

The fee increases range from two to four dollars per night. Campground fees vary by season and amenities.

The new fees at Glendale:

Electric (hookup, picnic table, fire ring, parking spur, drinking water in area, modern restrooms and showers) $23 (summer), $15 (winter)

Non-Electric (picnic table, fire ring, parking spur, drinking water in area, modern restrooms and showers) $16 (summer), $10 (winter).
