Milligan Sets School Record At Track State Finals

BLOOMINGTON (NNDC) – Jasper senior hurdler Reid Milligan finished his high school athletic career Friday night by setting a new school record in the 300 hurdles and he did it at the IHSAA Track & Field State Finals at Indiana University.

Milligan set the new JHS standard with a time of 39.62 seconds. His effort also placed him 15th overall the best finish of any local athlete at the state finals.

Forest Park senior Noah Braunecker competed in both the Discus and Shot Put at the state finals. He finished 20th overall in the Discus with a throw of 143′ 4″. Braunecker also finished 21st in the Shot Put with toss of 49′ 2.5″ just shy of his personal best of 49′ 7″ he set at the 2014 Regional.

The only other county competitor at the state finals was Jasper sophomore Corbin Kaiser. Corbin finished 26th in the 800 Meter Run.
