PIKE COUNTY (Local Sources) – Indiana Conservation Officers are searching the East Fork of the White River near the Highway 257 Bridge for a missing woman.

At approximately 5:15 pm Pike County Dispatch received a 911 call from a concerned motorist. The motorist had passed a woman standing on the bridge and turned around to check on her. When he returned she was gone.

There was a car parked on the south side of the bridge belonging to Lianne Wiscaver (55) of Washington who has not been seen or heard from since Thursday afternoon.

Conservation Officers have conducted bank searches and have been using dragging equipment in efforts to locate Wiscaver since last night. Search efforts resumed at daylight this (Friday) morning.
