LINCOLN CITY (NNDC) – Southridge track & field standout Aubrey Main (pictured) broke her own school record in the 200 meters Thursday night in the Lady Raiders regular season finale meet at Heritage HIlls.

She set the record the first time just this past Monday! Monday was also the same day she signed a national letter of intent to run track at Murray State.

Main’s time Thursday night…. 25.88 seconds; 4/10ths of second better than Monday night.

Aubrey also holds the school records in the 100 and 400 meters and the high jump. Those were the three events she qualified for the state finals a year ago; the first time in school history anyone has qualified for three events at the state finals.

Thursday night, Main also won the 400 meters, the high jump and ran the anchor leg on the Lady Raiders winning 3200 meter relay team.

Southridge outran Heritage Hills in the PAC dual meet 72-59. Southridge finishes the regular season with a 17-2 record (the two losses to Jasper).
