UPDATED: Huntingburg Woman Charged With Intent To Deal Marijuana; Arrested At Event Center

HUNTINGBURG (NNDC) – A local woman was taken into police custody just after midnight this morning after police say she was found dealing marijuana on the back steps of the Huntingburg Event Center.

Arrested was 19-year old Alejandra Mora.

Huntingburg police say they received a tip about a suspicious vehicle at the Event Center. There officers say they saw a female (Mora) walking near the back of the building.

Police say when they made contact with Mora who initially told officers she was just sitting behind the building.  Police say when they went and checked the area they found a digital scale, small Ziploc bags, and other drug paraphernalia on the steps.

Police say Mora then admitted she had marijuana in her possession.  Police say Mora also had 12 ziploc bags in her possession; each with approximately a gram of marijuana in them.   Police say another bag had more than two grams of marijuana in it.  See photo below provided by the Huntingburg Police Department.

HPD also says a search of Mora’s car turned up two more digital scales.

Mora is charged with a Class A misdemeanor counts of Intent to Deal Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.  She’s also charged with a Class B count of Possession of Marijuana.
