Alyssa WagnerAlyssa M. Wagner, 22 of Ireland, died Sunday (March 8) in Hopkins County, Kentucky, due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was born in Huntingburg October 29, 1992, to Randy “Red” and Joan (Matthews) Wagner.

Alyssa was a senior majoring in nursing at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and was scheduled to graduate in May. She was a 2011 graduate of Jasper High School. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, and she enjoyed scrapbooking, babysitting, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Wagner, Ireland; one rother, Benjamin Wagner and girlfriend Christina Ziegler, Ireland; her grandmother, Georgine Wagner, Ireland; and aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randy “Red” Wagner, one brother, Andrew Wagner, her paternal grandfather, Robert Wagner, and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Viola Matthews.
