We Made It Through The Worst Of The Storm; DCSD Says No Accidents Overnight (VIDEO)

JASPER (NNDC) – The worst of the latest winter storm has come and gone! Snowplow crews have been working non-stop since noon yesterday trying to stay ahead of the up to 8″ of snow we got in some parts of Dubois County. This morning, streets and even county roads survived the night in pretty good shape…

Meanwhile, the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department says there were no slide-offs or accidents overnight. There were an estimated two dozen slide-off accidents during the evening commute. All but one was minor. The one was a reported personal injury accident along U. S. 231 in Huntingburg late yesterday afternoon that brought traffic to a halt for a short time.
