Jasper Police Looking For Vehicle That Struck City Truck And Then Fled

JASPER (NNDC) — Jasper police are asking for the public’s help in finding the vehicle and driver they say struck a city sanitation truck this morning in the 400 block of Third Avenue.

JPD says at about 7:20am, a mid-1990s gold or tan Dodge passenger car, possibly a Stratus or Intrepid, struck the rear of a city sanitation truck and then left the scene. Police say the car went southbound on Third Avenue. The car should have damage to its right front.
