Louise Wilma Hostetter, 88, Jasper

Louise Wilma HostetterLouise Wilma Hostetter, 88, of Jasper, died Tuesday (January 20) at The Timbers of Jasper. She was born in Dubois County August 7, 1926, Vernon and Helen (Myers) Shelton.

Louise grew up in Otwell and was a graduate of Otwell High School. She was a homemaker, and worked and retired from Memorial Hospital and Health Care in Jasper. For many years she volunteered as a pianist for chapel services at Jasper Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Dennis A. Hostetter and wife Jo Ellen, Fremont, John C. Hostetter and wife Kathie, Rensselaer, and Paul Hostetter, Warsaw; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Donald R. Shelton, and one sister, Alberta McClure.

Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper. Rev. Larry VanCamp and and Rev. Paul Alvey will officiate. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
