Huntingburg Man Charged With Felony Residential Burglary

HOLLAND (NNDC) — A Huntingburg man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a home near Holland last month.

Indiana State Police say 24-year old Jacob Gunselman is charged with Class 4 Felony Residential Burglary, Class 6 Felony Residential Entry and a misdemeanor count of Theft in connection with a January 17th burglary at a home along West 1200 South south of Holland.

State police say jewelry was taken. ISP believes Gunselman gained entry by climbing a TV antenna, removing a window screen and then crawling in the home through a window.

State troopers were able to recover two of the jewelry items from local jewelers. Doing so led them to Gunselman as a suspect.

Gunselman was arrested on Thursday without incident.
