Latest Ferdinand Town Intern Selected

JordanFERDINAND – (Town of Ferdinand) – Jordan Voges (pictured) , a senior at Forest Park Jr.-Sr. High School, is serving as an intern this semester at the Town Manager’s office.

States Town Manager Chris James, “I am very proud to bring Jordan in as an intern this semester.  She is the latest in a long and productive line of FPHS students who have interned at the Town Manager’s office.  Past interns have proven quite beneficial in assisting the Town Manager, while gaining necessary experience for their own education and career goals.”

Jordan plans to major in some area of business in college after she graduates in May.  Her college choice and exact major are both undecided at this time.

James continues with his thoughts on the internship, “Jordan will be assisting with the creation and distribution of various materials and press releases issued through the Town Manager’s office.  It is my hope that Jordan’s time here will be well-spent and help guide her in her future educational endeavors.”

Jordan is the daughter of Allen and Lisa Voges of Bretzville, and has one brother, Craig, who is employed at Ford in Dearborn, Michigan.  During the school year, Jordan participates in volleyball, basketball, and softball; meanwhile, she is also a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions, BETA, and Renaissance clubs.

Outside of school, she is involved with the Talent Seekers 4-H club, as a 10 year member.  Jordan comments, “I am looking forward to this opportunity to understand what is involved in running a town.  I will definitely be able to apply this experience in my future goals.”
