JASPER (NNDC) – The Jasper Police Department in cooperation with the local Community Strike Force Against Crime are looking for the person or people responsible for vandalizing two vehicles overnight in the parking lot of a local restaurant.

JPD, in a news release, says a red pickup truck and a red Ford Mustang, were scratched “extensively” while parked overnight at the Los Bravos Restaurant, 198 South Newton Street.

The strike force is offering a $500 dollar reward for information that leads to the arrest of who did it.

JPD is asking if anyone has any information about the incident, to call the department at 812-482-2255, or you can call the local police anonymous tip line at 812-481-2677 (COPS).

POLICE ALSO LOOKING FOR HIT & RUN DRIVER; VEHICLE

JASPER (NNDC) – Jasper police are also looking for the driver and vehicle that left the scene of a property damage accident between 8 this morning and 12:30 this afternoon.

It happened in the parking lot of the Arby’s restaurant on north Newton Street in Jasper.

JPD says a green Pontiac Grand Prix was struck while parked at the restuarant.

Police say the vehicle they are looking for will have front passenger side damage.
