Mark S. Stillwell, 48, Huntingburg

Mark StillwellMark S. Stillwell, age 48, of Huntingburg, Indiana, a resident of the Northwood Good Samaritan Center in Jasper, died Thursday (January 8) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born in Huntingburg February 17, 1966, to Robert and Marva (Dorsam) Stillwell.

Mark was a graduate of Southridge High School and a United States Army veteran who served overseas during the Desert Storm war. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg. An avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs, he also enjoyed everything affiliated with pro-wrestling.

He is survived by three sisters, Dana Tretter and husband Mike, and Sherri Byers, all of Huntingburg, and Terri Munch and husband Brad, Haysville; three half-sisters, Marsha Mock and husband Fred, Piedmont, Missouri, Judith Davis, East Carondelet, Illinois, and Joanie Bullock, Montgomery City, Missouri; and 29 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and one half-brother, Robert “Bobby” Stillwell.

Services at 2 p.m. (EST) Monday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial following in Fairmount Cemetery. Pastor Mark West will officiate at the service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 memorial detail. Friends may call frp, 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
