Rosemarie E. (Rose) Rebber, Jasper

Rose RebberRosemarie E. (Rose) Rebber, 88 of Jasper, died Wednesday (November 19) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. She was born in Holland March 6, 1926, to Andrew Sr. and Bertha (Ring) Meyer. She married Ralph E. Rebber August 6, 1949, in Holland. He died December 27, 1984.

Rose worked as a bookkeeper for Holland Dairy in Holland and Whirlpool in Evansville. She also worked for and retired from Sears in Jasper as a retail sales clerk. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper and was a founding member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Evansville. She loved studying the bible, spending 14 years in Bible Study Fellowship in Evansville. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and to the Gaither Brothers, and talking family history and politics.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Rebber, Jasper, and Stan Rebber and wife Kathy, Kokomo; one brother, Andrew Meyer, Jr., and wife Vilene, Jasper; and 16 nieces and nephews.

Services at 3 p.m Sunday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper with burial following in Fairview Cemetery.Rev. Adam Ruschau will officiate. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
