St. Anthony Benefitting From New Endowment With $75,000 Donation

ST. ANTHONY (DUBOIS COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION) – A new endowment was established with the Dubois County Community Foundation to benefit the community of St. Anthony.

St. Anthony Community Endowment was created this January in anticipation of the community’s Sesquicentennial celebration this year. Proceeds from the celebration were allocated for the newly established endowment.

“We’re giving a gift for the future,” said Scott Uebelhor, president of St. Anthony Sesquicentennial Committee. “The endowment ensures our community is protected today and preserved for future generations of St. Anthony.”

The purpose of the endowment is to support a broad range of charitable needs within and for the benefit of St. Anthony and Jackson Township.

A community celebration was held last night where over 350 people came to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the St. Anthony Community Center. The Sesquicentennial Committee presented a $75,000 check to the Community Foundation for the endowment.
