Cassie Lee TurnerCassie Lee Turner, 25, of Huntingburg, died Saturday (November 8) of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Highway 64 near the Bretzville Junction. She was born July 11, 1989, in Huntingburg to Greg C. and Pam (Abell) Turner.

Cassie attended Southridge High School and was working as a certified nurse’s assistant while attending Vincennes University Jasper Campus. She enjoyed music, singing, caring for the elderly, and spending time with her son and her family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Landon, at home; two brothers,
Cody Cooper and significant other Shannon Stuckey and Clint Cooper and significant other Ashley Sharp, all of Huntingburg; one sister, Callie F. Turner, Huntingburg; her companion, Nikki Enlow, Birdseye; and her grandmother, Fay W. Turner, Florida.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Lloyd and Norma Abell and Guy Turner.

A memorial service in celebration of Cassie’s Life will be held at 7 p.m. (EST) Wednesday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.¬†Gary Turner, Cassie’s uncle, will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
