Ralph Raymond Peters, 67, Huntingburg

Ralph PetersRalph Raymond Peters, 67, of Huntingburg, died Sunday (November 2). He was born in
Spencer County to Frank and Anita Wilmes Peters.

Ralph attended school in Fulda and graduated from St. Ferdinand High School. He was a member of the National Guard during the Vietnam
period. He was a furniture maker at JOFCO for nearly 40 years, retiring in 2005. He loved his family, landscape painting, woodworking, renovating his home and gardens, miniature trains, and roses. In later years, he enjoyed the outdoors on his scooter and golf cart. He was a member of Salem United Church Christ, Huntingburg.

His survived by his wife, Elaine Peters; two sons, Christopher Peters and wife Thess, and Thomas Peters and wife Laura, all of Jasper; four step daughters, Jennifer Armstrong Milligan and husband Terry, Columbus, Meredith Armstrong, Oakland, California, and Susan and Faye Armstrong, both of Kensington, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Chase Steftenagel, Eric, Luke and Jenna Peters, Seamus
and Katherine Milligan, and Lillianna Armstrong; two brothers, Earl (Karen) Peters and wife Karen, Santa Claus, and Jim (Debbie) Peters and wife Debbie, Owensboro, Kentucky; and two sisters, Aggie Kempf and husband Steve, Bretzville, and Mary Mills, Evansville.;’(Steve) of Bretzville, Mary Mills of Evansvill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anita Peters, two brothers, Carl and Bernard Peters, and one sister, Sister Anita of The Benedictines at Monastery Immaculate Conception, Ferdinand.

Friends and family are invited to an open house at the home of Ralph and Elaine Peters from 1-5 p.m. Saturday and to a memorial service at 4:30 pm. Memorials in his name may be sent to Salem UCC, Huntingburg, or to Dale Presbyterian Church (Micah Center).  Arrangements by Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com.
