INDIANAPOLIS (NNDC) – Jasper and Forest Park now know when they will perform this Saturday at the ISSMA Marching Band State Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Forest Park will be the first of the two to perform. The Marching Rangers are the two-time defending Class D state champions. They will take to the field at 10:39 Saturday morning with their 2014 show “Aquatica.” The awards ceremony for Class D will begin at 12:10 p.m. Forest Park is an eight-time Class D state champion (1981, 1982, 1985, 1986, 2001, 2008, 2012 and 2013). This will be the band’s 11th consecutive trip to the ISSMA state finals.

The Marching Wildcats who won the Class B state championship in 2012 will perform their show “Celtic Dances” at 1:36pm Saturday.

Jasper is a two-time state champion (the other in 1973 the first year for the ISSMA when the competition was an all-class event).

The awards ceremony for Class B will get underway at 3:20 p.m.
