Jasper Boys Soccer Wins Another Big 8 Crown; Lady Wildcats Spike Southridge (SCOREBOARD)

At Jasper, the Wildcats win their second consecutive outright Big 8 Conference title. The Wildcats score all four goals in the second half; three by junior Eirik Steine. Senior Caleb Hurst also scored.

Jasper now 13-1 overall and undefeated in the conference. Jasper has won 13 straight after dropping it’s season opener


Forest Park 10 Washington Catholic 0

At Washington, the Lady Rangers scored and scored often in their 10-0 shutout of Washington Catholic. Sophomore Madisyn Hunt with three goals in the win; Hannah Gehlhausen with two. Forest Park scored 6 goals in the first half.


Jasper 3 Southridge 0

At Jasper, the Lady Wildcats continue to play some of their best volleyball of the season winning in three games to visiting Southridge, 25-11, 25-18, 25-13.

Elisabeth Ahlbrand with 11 kills to lead Jasper; Michala Flamion added 9. Teyah Leinenbach had 29 assists for the Lady Wildcats; Rachel Sternberg had 16 digs.

Nikki Fischer, Kayla Voegerl and Taylor Uppencamp each with three kills for the Lady Raiders. Maddie Lubbehusen had 20 digs; Voegerl had 17.

Northeast Dubois 3 Shoals 0

At Shoals, the Lady Jeeps swept Shoals in three games, 25-7, 25-19, 25-18.

Kendra Jacob with 16 kills to lead Northeast Dubois. Kennedy Neukam had 37 assists in the match for the victors; she also added 12 digs. Jenna Stemle led the Lady Jeeps with 23 digs.

Evansville Memorial 3 Forest Park 0

At Evansville, the host Lady Tigers swept Forest Park, 25-11, 25-22, 25-11.

Lydia Lange led the Lady Rangers with nine kills; she also had 10 digs match. Madi Giesler had 14 digs; Anna Hagedorn added 12. Sophia Bolte led Forest Park with 13 assists.


Southridge 5 South Spencer 0

At Reo, the Raiders roll to a Pocket Athletic Conference win with a sweep of South Spencer.

Corbin Neu and Mitch Steinkamp win at #1 and #2 singles. Cam O’Bryan and Evan Julian win at #1 doubles. The Rebels forfeited matches at #3 singles and #2 doubles.

The win improves Southridge to 5-3 in the PAC.
