Jasper Woman Arrested For Shoplifting & Criminal Tresspassing

ZehrJASPER (NNDC) – Jasper police arrested 31-year old Tessa Lee Zehr early Tuesday afternoon after they say she attempted to take nearly $1000 worth of items from the Jasper WalMart store without paying for them.

Zehr was taken into custody at her home on Canterbury Court just across U. S. 231 from the store.

Police say most of thems Zehr attempted to take were groceries and makeup.

She is being held without bond pending her initial appearance in court on charges of Theft and Criminal Trespass, both Level 6 felonies. JPD says Zehr is charged with criminal trespassing because she was on the WalMart property after being charged with theft from the store on previous occasions.

This is the third time Zehr has been arrested on theft charges since June 30th.
