At Ferdinand, sophomore Madisyn Hunt scores six goals for the Lady Rangers as they roll over Boonville 8-2 for only their second win of the 2014 season.

The six goal effort comes on her 16th birthday!

Madison Knies and Hailei Gehlhausen each added a goal for Forest Park as they improve to 2-5-1 overall.

JASPER 4 NORTHEAST DUBOIS 0

At Jasper, Anna Charron scores three goals in leading the Lady Wildcats to a 4-0 win over Northeast Dubois. Annie Stout added a goal in the second half on a free kick.

Northeast Dubois sophomore goalkeeper Desiree Schepers, playing in her first varsity game was busy all night long as Jasper had 32 shots on goal. Lauren Schnell with the shutout in the net for Jasper.

JASPER 7 HERITAGE HILLS 0

At Lincoln City, Jasper scores five goals in the first half as it rolls to a 7-0 win over host Heritage Hills.

Caleb Hurst and Elliott Prage each with two goals to lead the Wildcats. The two scored four of Jasper’s five first half goals. Luke Ackerman, Heath Gudorf and Christopher Menjivar scored goals for Jasper as the Wildcats improve to 8-1 for the season. Luke Fleck with the shutdown in goal for Jasper.

FOREST PARK 3 BOONVILLE 1

At Ferdinand, Forest Park not only scored a goal for the first time in three games Thursday night, and the three goals they tallied held up in a 3-1 home win over Boonville.

Freshman Noah Fleck would score his first goal of the season in the win. Austin Bromm, and Cole Henke also had goals for the Rangers who improve to 3-6 for 2014.

FOREST PARK 3 LOOGOOTEE 2

Forest Park bounces back from a three-game loss earlier this week at Northeast Dubois with an exciting 3-2 win at Loogootee, 21-25, 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 15-12.

Lydia Lange with 13 kills in the match; Jordan Voges added 11. Gabby Hoffman and Sophia Bolte had 19 and 17 assists respectively, while Madi Giesler led the Lady Rangers with 25 digs while Lange had 24 and Anna Hagedorn came up with 22.

NORTHEAST DUBOIS 3 WASHINGTON CATHOLIC 0

At Dubois, the Lady Jeeps roll over Washington Catholic in three games, 25-10, 25-7, 25-13.

Kendra Jacob again led the Lady Jeeps with 17 kills and 11 digs. Carly Terwiske with 35 assists. She also had seven serving aces in the match.

SOUTHRIDGE 3 PIKE CENTRAL 0

At Huntingburg, Southridge beat PAC foe Pike Central 25-16, 25-12, 26-24.

Kayla Voegerl led the Lady Raiders with 12 kills and 13 digs. Sydney Altmeyer added 11 kills. Grace Kappner with 16 assists; Maddie Lubbehusen with 16 digs for Southridge.

BOYS TENNIS

NORTHEAST DUBOIS 4 TECUMSEH 1

At Lynnville, the Jeeps remain undefeated with a 4-1 win over host Tecumseh.

The only match loss for Northeast Dubois was at #1 singles, as Grant Pemberton beat Patrick Betz in straight sets, 4-6 and 2-6. It was the first match loss for Betz this season.

Meanwhile, the Jeeps easily won the other four matches… Jaxon Denu (#2 Singles), Case Eisenhut (#3 Singles, Cayden Knies/Tristan Linne (#1 Doubles) and Kaden Quinn/Parker Zehr (#2 Doubles).

The Jeeps now 10-0 overall as a team in 2014.

GIRLS GOLF

TELL CITY 219 SOUTHRIDGE 229

At Huntingburg Country Club, the Lady Raiders lose in PAC dual match with Tell City, 219-229.

Megan Weitkamp shot a nine-hole score of 55 to lead Southridge. Rosalinda Ornelas carded a 56 while, Olivia Mundy, Paige Snyder and Taylor Sheldon each scored 59 in the match.
