Rosella R. Kluesner, 97, Jasper

Rosella KluesnerRosella R. Kluesner, 97, of Jasper, died Tuesday (September 9) at the Timbers of Jasper. She was born in Jasper August 7, 1917, to George and Catherine (Prechtel) Streicher. She married Othmar Kluesner January 2, 1941, in St. Celestine Catholic Church. He died June 1, 1987.

Rosella worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken for eight years, and babysat for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She loved dancing and playing cards.

Surviving are one daughter, Shirley Haase and husband Gerald, Celestine; three sons, Edward Kluesner and wife Nancy and Donald Kluesner and wife Sharon, all of Jasper, and Dennis Kluesner, Haysville; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lawrence Streicher and wife Martina, Jasper.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Ron Kluesner, who died in infancy, four sisters, Esther Wahl, Marie Burger, Viola Streicher, and Betsy Streicher, and one brother, Ralph Streicher.

Services at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church with burial following in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church or to a favorite charity. Online condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com.
