Plans For Third “Hospital Hoedown” Announced

JASPER – On Saturday, October 4, from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm, Memorial Hospital Foundation will be sponsoring its third “Hospital Hoedown” at “The Lodge” which is located at 2590 South Newton Street in Jasper. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center building expansion.

Sub-titled “Denim, Dinner and Dancing”, the event will feature two bands: the Mountain Harmony Bluegrass Band and the Linda Smith Band. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm, and it will consist of a pulled pork, a basil herbed, boneless chicken breast, roasted corn, baked beans, sweet ’n sour slaw, cornbread, and tea or lemonade. A cash bar will also be available.

Dress for this event is casual; jeans and western wear are fine, and the event is for adults only-no children please. Tickets may be purchased for $25.00 ($50.00 per couple) before September 26, and after that, they are $30.00 each ($60.00 per couple).
