John “Pup” Schuetter, 49, Huntingburg

Pup SchuetterJohn “Pup” Schuetter, 49, of Huntingburg, died Saturday (August 30) at Brookside Village in Jasper. He was born June 27, 1965, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper to Jacob “Jack” and Barbara (Ruhe) Schuetter. He married Angela Schulz April 17, 1993, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.

John was a driver for Central Concrete. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and being with family and friends. He was a fan of the Indiana Hoosiers, Cincinnati Reds and the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of the St. Anthony Conservation Club and St. Ferdinand Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; two sons, Jacob and Nathan, and two daughters, Claudia and Calli, all at home; his mother, Barbara Henning and husband Tracy, Ferdinand; three sisters, Janet Roller and husband Jeff, Carmel, and Chris Becher and husband Shawn, and Connie Spinner and husband Dave, all of Ferdinand; and one brother, Bill Schuetter and wife Max, Ferdinand.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Schuetter, one brother, George Schuetter, grandparents Mary and Edward Ruhe, and George and Mary Schuetter.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 7-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Services at 10 a.m. Thursday at Saint Ferdinand Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Condolences may be shared at
