The Northeast Dubois Volleyball team lost two of three matches in the Perry Central Invitational Tournment at Leopold on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Southridge lost all three of its matches the tournament.

The Lady Jeeps lost to Henryville 18-25, 25-23, 7-15; beat Southridge, 25-23, 18-25, 18-16 before losing to the host Lady Commodores 11-25, 9-25.

In addition to losing to Northeast Dubois, the Lady Raiders also lost to Perry Central 23-25, 18-25 and to Henryville 25-18, 20-25, 12-15.

For the Lady Raiders, Sophomore Kayla Voegerl had 26 total in the three matches, go to along with 36 digs and five aces.

Maddie Lubbehusen had seven aces and 49 digs; Sydney Altmeyer had 10 kills and eight blocks. Taylor Uppencamp also had 10 kills to go along with four aces; Grace Kappner lead Southridge 26 assists on the day while Kathryn Brewer added 18 assists and four aces.

At Boonville, Forest Park lost all three matches of its matches in the Lady Pioneers Invitational.

Forest Park lost to North Posey 12/25, 18/25, to Heritage Hills 16/25, 21/25 and to Boonville 19/25, 22/25.

On the day, Lydia Lange lead the Lady Rangers with 23 kills; Jordan Voges added 8 as did Kiersten Haas.

Sophia Bolte had 23 assists on the day. Gabby Hoffman added 17.

Lange also led Forest Park with 29 digs; Maddie Giesler added 23

At Barr-Reeve on Friday, the Northeast Dubois Lady Jeeps dropped a Blue Chip Conference match with the Lady Vikings in four games, 11-25, 27-25, 13-25, and 22-25.

Kendra Jacob led the Lady Jeeps with 18 kills; Adison Denu added 11. Jenna Stemle had 32 digs for the Lady Jeeps as Jacob and Denu added 12 each.

Kennedy Neukam had 34 assists.


On Saturday, Jasper rolled at home against Mt. Vernon 9-0. The Wildcats scored 6 goals alone in the second half.

Heath Gudorf led Jasper with three goals. Caleb Hurst added two. Elliott Prange, Christopher Menjivar, Noah Farmer, Luke Ackerman and Eirik Steine each added one.

Jasper improves to 3-1 overall for the 2014 season and are now 2-0 in the Big 8 Conference.


At Bretzville on Saturday, the Lady Rangers play to a 2-2 with North Harrison.

Madisyn Hunt and Madison Knies each score a goal for Forest Park, Knies’ was on a penalty kick in the second half for the Lady Rangers who are now 1-3-1 for the season.
