Unemployment Down In Dubois County; State’s Rate Unchanged

Kentucky also did not see a change from June to July, remaining steady at 7.4 percent. Illinois saw a drop in unemployment rates from 7.1 to 6.8 percent.

The national average in July was 6.2 percent.

Meanwhile, Dubois County’s unemployment rate dropped four-tenths of a percent to 3.9% at the end of July as the county keeps its grip on the lowest county unemployment rate in the state.

Hamilton County was second at 4.2%.

The unemployment rate in all eight adjoining counties to Dubois also fell in July. The eight are Crawford, Daviess, Martin, Orange, Perry, Pike, Spencer, and Warrick.
