A Marion Indiana man was arrested over the weekend by Huntingburg police charged with Level 6 Domestic Battery.

HPD says at approximately 6:40 Sunday night it was called to a home in the 200 block of west 20th Street in reference to an alleged domestic battery that had occured. There, woman told officers her ex-husband, 31-year old Travis Delagrange had verbally assulted her when be brought back their children to her home.

The woman also said Delagrange grabbed her by the back of the neck and then threw her down into the roadway. HPD says the woman had marks on her that matched her story.

Police say Delagrange had already left the residence by the time they arrived. His vehicle was located a short time later just north of Jasper where he was stopped by Dubois County Sheriff’s Department deputies and taken into custody.
