A Jasper man faces numerous charges, including three felonies following what police call a domestic incident Thursday morning.

37-year old Travis Stine is charged with grabbing a female victim around the neck for several seconds before he allegedly shoved her and then threw her to the ground.

JPD says Stine was in the process of moving from his residence in the 400 block of West Sixth Street shortly after 10 Thursday morning. But, when he returned to the house to pickup an item, police say he then got into a verbal disagreement with the female which turned physical. Afterward, Stine left the residence, but was located a short time later by police.

Stine is charged with Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, which is a Level 5 felony; Strangulation, a Level 6 felony; Intimidation, also a Level 6 felony and Domestic Battery, a Class A misdemeanor.

An ambulance was called to the residence, but the female refused treatment.
