HUNTINGBURG -Dubois County Bombers General Manager, Joe Mundy, announces coaching changes slated for the 2015 summer season with the promotion of Andy Lasher to the head manager position. “We are excited to elevate Andy to lead our team next year at the recommendation of both the past manager Wes Fink, and pitching coach Greg Gogel,” according to Mundy.

Lasher, a Newburgh, IN native, joined the Bombers this past season as an assistant field manager. He played college baseball at Olney Central College in 2010 and 2011, before playing for Wes Carroll at the University of Evansville in 2012 and 2013. Lasher graduated with a business administration degree from the University of Evansville and is currently an assistant coach at Olney Central.

Both Fink and Gogel will stay connected with the Bombers for the 2015 season with various responsibilities. Coach Fink will concentrate on player recruitment. Coach Gogel will continue to work with the Bombers’ pitching staff on a limited basis due to his recent appointment as head baseball coach at Heritage High School.
