Recent Jasper High School graduate Cam Weyer shot a 67 Sunday at Sultan’s Run in Jasper enroute to the 2014 Dubois County Amateur Golf Tournament Championship.  The tournament has been sponsored by the Dubois County Herald for all of its 45 year existence.

Weyer finished the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a record setting 203 to become the second first-time winner of the event the last two years.

Weyer, who will play golf this fall at Vincennes University, was five strokes better than defending champ and 2013 JHS grad Will Seger and six strokes better than 11-time winner Derek Bolling.

Seger, who will be a sophomore at Indiana University this fall, beat Bolling a year ago to win his first County Am title.
