From the Dubois County Bombers

Here is the official ruling by the OVL from last night’s game…

“As a result of an incident during the Hoptown – Dubois County game at Huntingburg In., the entire Hoptown team was ejected by the umpire creating a forfeit by Hoptown which was so called by Umpire Gaddey as Hoptown had no players with which to continue the game. The forfeited game was awarded to Dubois Co. 9 to 0 by rule.

The ejected Hoptown players are prohibited from playing in their next regular scheduled game which is Hoptown at Fulton on July 20 2014.”

With this ruling, Fulton is secured 3rd place in the OVL resulting in Dubois County in 4th.

So….. The Bombers will be playing a one-game play-in on this Wednesday night at League Stadium against Madisonville at 7:00pm (Eastern). All tickets for this play-in game will be priced at $3 each. Season Tickets will be honored.
