State Auditor Suzanne Crouch says Indiana will wrap up the 2014 fiscal year with a $2 billion surplus.
Crouch says expenditures grew just over two percent, which is less than the inflation rate.
However, some representatives say the surplus isn’t such a good thing.
State Representative Gregory Porter, the ranking Democrat on the Indiana House Ways and Means Committee, says the state hordes money instead of using to rebuild infrastructure or provide health insurance to needy Hoosiers.
