Bombers Give Up Lead; Lose At Home To Fulton

bombers logThe Bombers lose a heartbreaker to Fulton last night at League Stadium.  The Railroaders score five runs in the top of the 7th to overcome a 4-1 Bombers lead and win the ballgame, 6-5.

Fulton has now won the last three games between the two Ohio Valley League rivals.

Bombers third-baseman Chase Scott goes 2-3 at the plate with an RBI and he scores two runs in the loss.

Dubois County falls back to .500 on the season with a 16-16 overall record.  The Bombers and Fulton both now six games out of first place currently held by Owensboro where DC plays tonight.

The Bombers are off Saturday and return home Sunday to take on league cellar dweller Madionsville.
