bombers logThe Dubois County Bombers hang on for an exciting 11-9 win Wednesday night over Hoptown at League Stadium.

The Bombers led 7-3 after four innnings and looked to be in control of the ballgame. That was before the Hoppers scored six runs in the top of the 7th to take a 9-7 lead over their hosts.

But, a bases loaded triple by Dubois County’s Ty Broady in the bottom of the 7th cleared the bases to make it 10-9 Bombers.

Then Broady scored himself on an error to make the final 11-9.

The Bombers have won six of their last eight and are now 16-15 for the season.  DC was held scoreless in losing both ends of a doubleheader at Fulton last Saturday.

The Bombers looking to get revenge tonight as they host the Railroaders for “Thirsty Thursday!”
