Missing Princeton Teen’s Pickup May Have Been In Dubois County

The investigation into the whereabouts of a missing Princeton Community High School student continues. The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for 18-year old Richard Deffendall. Authorities say he did not show up for school on Tuesday, nor did he report to work Tuesday after school.

The sheriff’s department says Deffendall’s pickup truck was located in Frankfort, Kentucky. They were also able to ping his cell phone. Deffendall’s mother says they got a ping on her son’s cellphone just before 9 oclock Central time, south of Atlanta, Georgia.

The parents believe someone else has their son’s phone. They also believe their son is in danger. The Gibson County sheriff’s department is investigating all leads in Richard Deffendall’s disappearance including surveillance video from a convenience store here in Dubois County where his truck might have been spotted early Tuesday afternoon.

Richard Deffendall is described as being six-feet-tall, weighing 114 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
