Marilou Lampert, 79, of St. Anthony, died Thursday (April 24) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. She was born December 24, 1934, in Princeton, to Lee Ivan and Pauline (Sisson) Wright. She married Charles W. Lampert July 21, 1956, in St. Anthony Catholic Church. He died July 17, 2006.
Marilou was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading.-
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Taber, Huntingburg, and Kristina Beckman and husband Craig, St. Anthony; two sons, John Lampert and wife Beverly, St. Anthony, and Mark Lampert and wife Theresa, Huntingburg; seven grandchildren, William Taber, Cassandra Hasenour, Benjamin Taber, Jessica Taber, Shaley Lampert, Janelle Lampert, and Jarred Lampert; five great-grandchildren, Kodilee Hasenour, Troy Hasenour, Sadie Taber, Olivia Lampert, and Liam Lampert; and one brother, Robert Wright, Jasper.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, William Lee Lampert.
Services at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8: p.m. Wednesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
